Such delicious German food. Just love getting the classic pork schnitzel with spaetzle and red cabbage and my husband loves the German platter with all the sausages. The beer selection is amazing and the staff treats you like family. I'm always stuffed when I leave but one of these days they're gonna talk me in to taking some strudel home.

Amazing German Food!!! Beer was great service was amazing! It's as good as many of the other German places I've had in New York or Michigan!

We visited Das Stein Haus on a weekday evening. When we arrived the dining room was empty but we were promptly greeted and shown to our table. Looking over their menu they had a selection of traditional German food (schnitzel, spaetzle etc.) Based on Yelp reviews I order the Jager Schnitzel and was not disappointed. The schnitzel itself was crisp and delicious. The sauce on it was equally delicious but for me the star of the show was the sauerkraut. We also ordered some German beers that were very enjoyable. The waitstaff was pleasant, the decor inviting and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning if I'm ever in the area again. The other people in my party went back a couple nights later before we ended our trip because they liked it so much.

Quiet place that isn't to busy but smells great! We got right in and seated in a table that actually fit 5 people. Service was good and fast. The food was so delicious and savory and comforting. The schnitzel was crispy and porky and veal sauce was tasty. The beef stroganoff had a strong beefy flavor. Really enjoyed the spaetzle which had a good texture. Would recommend!

Great German Food! Hard to find in Eastern Washington! Additionally, Service is personal yet professional. We will be back

First time to Das Stein Haus but I have heard of this German cuisine restaurant.. when you walk in it spits into two doors left to the bar and right to dining.. wife chose dining this night... the restaurant was clean and low noise.. people are packed in but booths are available.. we were seated and the waitress was very kind and informative as I had many questions of the menu and the waitress was patient and kind to help me thru... I settled for the German combo platter and the wife ordered beef stroganoff ... we both had a side of clam chowder which was surprisingly good... I hit quite a few clam chuncks with just the right balance of potatoes.... my plate came with a baked potatoe which was good. The sauerkraut was good the sausages were good and the pork patties with gravy was dynamite... lots of food maybe not enough sauerkraut because it was good and very tasty the sausages were flavorful and the meal was well worth it! The wife said the beef stroganoff was good I was to hill and into my plate to try it... all and all great food great service and a definite need to try out...

We were excited to find a good German food restaurant in Spokane. And the food is excellent here. We've had Jager Schnitzel and Spaetzle, plus pretzel with amazing cheese sauce. Others in party had Apple Brandy Schnitzel, Chicken Carbonara, and kids chicken strips (the fries are to die for). All plates were excellent and portions are huge. Very quiet place with only handful of staff. But service is wonderful and food was quick. Highly recommend.

I love their food, and I love supporting a local family business. My favorite dish is the jager schnitzel and the red cabbage side dish (that I don't know the name of).

We were in town for a visit and had a really good dinner at Das Stein Haus. The place is authentic plus the beer and food were very good. Anna the server was great. She gave us some good advise on the menu. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. We started with a few drafts + a pretzel. Then we had the Jager Schnitzel & a Chicken Schnitzel. We plan on returning next time we are in town. This is a hidden gem.
